TOP VENT
It is no secret that smoking fish or any meat of your choice to perfection takes time and weather conditions may change anytime. With our top vent, you can keep your kamado in the rain without any fears of rain ruining the food.
It has 4 adjustable levels of airflow and can also be slid to the side for maximum airflow which is essential when you need high temperatures fast for searing or baking pizzas.
Regular Kamado chimneys do not have protective rain cover and this becomes a huge problem if you do not have any roof over the kamado and you want to cook food for a longer period of time. Not only does the rain get in through the chimney and drip over the food, but it may also even drop the temperature.
DRAFT DOOR
Airflow is crucial if you want to obtain the ideal cooking temperature. Evolve Kamado has a top vent (chimney) and a bottom vent (draft door). The Kamado's internal temperature is mostly controlled through the bottom vent. The best way to switch off the grill after usage is to close both the bottom and top vents and let the fire burn out naturally.
FIBERGLASS GASKET
While most of the other brands choose to integrate felt gaskets, we provided Evolve Kamado with a fiberglass gasket which ensures a better thermal seal and a protective barrier where the lid meets the grill.
This in turn insulates heat and prevents smoke/temperature loss. Unlike felt, fiberglass gasket is resistant to burning, melting, mold and is wear-resistant. In comparison, the felt gasket requires constant replacement and should be protected from high heat and moisture since it can be damaged easier. Torn and burnt felt gasket is not able to provide a high-quality thermal seal and users in turn have to spend more time maintaining the temperature.
HOVER HINGE SYSTEM & LOCK
You no longer need to have huge muscles to open a kamado, because Evolve Kamado has a hover hinge system that allows you to lift it with just one finger and release the lid in place at every angle. Evolve Kamado air-tight lock helps maintain the temperature. Secure that heat inside!
2-ZONE COOKING GRID SYSTEM

This option allows you to create different heat zones and block it on one or both sides so that you can sear steaks, cook vegetables and even toast your bread simultaneously.
The cooking grid is also divided into two parts and can be put on two different height levels thus providing even more temperature control.
We have also made sure users get the maximum cooking surface in accordance with the size of the Kamado body.
51 cm diameter means more space for your meals and while 2-5 cm in comparison to other brands may not seem like a lot, it adds up to about 8-21% capacity, which is the size of 2-3 average-sized burger patties.
BLACK-GLAZED
HEAT DEFLECTORS
Most brands provide simple ceramic heat deflectors – which is fine, but they are hard to clean, collect grease which creates high-temperature fluctuations and deflectors are more prone to cracking. We created heat deflectors with unique non-scratch, easy-to-clean black glazing, which prevents all these problems and ensures higher durability.
Why are black-glazed heat deflectors superior to regular ceramic deflectors? First of all, they are easy to clean. Since all the fat from food is dripping on them, deflectors get really dirty after several uses. Black-glazed deflectors can be wiped clean with just a few motions.
Another great advantage - black glazed deflectors are more durable and withstand temperature fluctuations easier than regular deflectors. Thus they are more prone to cracking. Here is what ceramic heat deflectors look like after some use due to moisture, thermal shock, and food debris.
PREMIUM THERMOMETER
A premium thermometer with a vast temperature range and a sensitive probe provides an easy way to accurately measure internal temperature without opening the dome. Easy to read and identify, it even provides recommended temperature ranges for different types of cooking methods.
