It has 4 adjustable levels of airflow and can also be slid to the side for maximum airflow which is essential when you need high temperatures fast for searing or baking pizzas.

Regular Kamado chimneys do not have protective rain cover and this becomes a huge problem if you do not have any roof over the kamado and you want to cook food for a longer period of time. Not only does the rain get in through the chimney and drip over the food, but it may also even drop the temperature.

DRAFT DOOR

Precise airflow control is essential for achieving the perfect cooking temperature. The Evolve Kamado is equipped with both a top vent chimney and a bottom draft door, allowing you to easily regulate heat and maintain stable cooking conditions.

 

The bottom draft door plays a key role in controlling the internal temperature by adjusting the amount of air entering the grill. After cooking, simply close both the top and bottom vents to safely reduce airflow and let the fire burn out naturally.
